Frank Brown International Songwriter Festival along the Gulf Coast for 10 days in Nov. of each year in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama and adjacent Perdido Key, FL. Venues vary from year to year, but there are always many choices for each night of the festival and often at little or no cost. Hear for yourself the writers do the songs often made famous by others. Many hit songs are written during the festival as well, be the first to hear them !

Festival is held every Labor Day Weekend in nearby Morgan City, LA . The
event is free and has grown to become one of the country's premiere festivals. There's
plenty of fun for kids of all ages and lots to see, hear, do and EAT! The festival is
truly a feast for ALL senses and according to Time Magazine,"...one of the best, the
most unusual, the most down-home, the most moving and the most fun the country has to

The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival on Fernandina Beach on East Coast barrier island of Amelia Island, Florida, north of Jacksonville, FL celebrates over 41 years of catching shrimp, cooking shrimp, eating shrimp, drawing shrimp art and wearing Shrimp Festival t-shirts. The Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival features jazz, pop, rock,beach music, folk, country and big band musical guests, fine arts and crafts , antiques, waterfront activities, shrimp and seafood dishes abound - all prepared with local flair and flavor by local volunteer organizations in and around Fernandina Beach. The annual event attracts more than 100,000 visitors.
